Coaching
Sport has been part of my life for as long as I can remember. I started cycling from a very young age, represented my county in canoe slalom as a young adult, and eventually returned to my true passion — cycling. Today, I compete as a masters athlete and have earned medals at world level events across disciplines from sprint to team pursuit on the track, along with numerous national titles.
Beyond training and competing, I am passionate about coaching and wheel building. I hold the following coaching qualifications:
- British Cycling Level 2 Track Coach
- British Cycling Level 2 MTB Coach
- Association of British Cycle Coaches (ABCC) Level 3 Coach
- Level 4 Strength and Conditioning Coach
If you’re looking for a coach with a sports science degree, I may not be the right fit. However, if you want someone who truly understands people — someone who knows how to help you balance work, family, and training while achieving your best — then I’d love to hear from you.
I know what it’s like to train and compete while working twelve-hour shifts and living a full life outside of cycling. Not everyone can train like a pro cyclist; finding the right balance is key.
I have coached male and female riders across all age categories in cyclocross, MTB, road, and track (both sprint and endurance). My athletes have won titles from junior to masters level. I enjoy working through the challenges each rider faces and figuring out what helps them reach their full potential.
If you’re interested, let’s have a no-obligation chat. You’re also welcome to speak with some of the riders I currently coach to learn more about how I work.
At Adey Dent Coaching, there’s just one level of coaching — one clear price: £130 per month.
This includes:

- Unlimited access to me for support — no restricted email limits, no 15-minute catch-ups.
If you need advice or want to chat, call me anytime. I might not always answer immediately, but I’ll get back to you as soon as I can.
If this approach appeals to you, get in touch — I’d love to help you on your journey.
